ROAS

Revenue divided by ad spend for a given period or campaign.Return on ad spend (ROAS) is the headline efficiency metric for paid acquisition — revenue attributable to ad spend, divided by that spend. A ROAS of 4× means $4 of revenue per $1 spent. ROAS is always reported gross; for decision-making, compare against contribution-margin ROAS to know if the campaign is actually profitable after COGS.
