RSA
Also known as · Responsive Search Ads
Google Ads format where the platform algorithmically combines headlines and descriptions into optimized ad variants.Responsive search ads (RSAs) are Google's primary search ad format. The advertiser supplies up to 15 headlines and 4 descriptions; Google's algorithm combines them into served ad variants based on predicted performance for each query. Strong RSA performance requires diverse headline themes — features, benefits, social proof, calls-to-action — not 15 variations of the same phrase.
